After months of debating everything from color palettes to which hipster animal best represents us, we finally finished our website!

Now we can chronicle every part of this crazy journey and share it with you. We’re pretty nostalgic too, if you can’t tell by our name. So who are we? What’s LOST FORMAT Apparel Co? How do we, with your help, alleviate the problem of homelessness? Read on to find out!

Making Helping Easy

Over 500,000 people are homeless in America. If you're like most Americans, you want to help but you can barely squeeze in enough time to run errands or hang out with your family. The quest to alleviate the problem of homelessness is like getting past the second stage of Ghosts 'n Goblins. It feels damn near impossible.

That's where LOST FORMAT comes in. We'll donate an item of clothing to a homeless organization every time you buy an item of clothing. For every company milestone, we'll expand our services to include job-readiness programs for our homeless neighbors at our distribution centers. It's that easy!

How We Got Here

We met on a motorcycle forum in the summer of 2015. Since then, we’ve probably hung out every other day for the last two years. Most of that time was spent watching 80’s action movies, going on motorcycle rides and sampling hot sauce. But every once in awhile, we’d get lost in these crazy business ideas.

We won’t bore you with the details. All we’ll say is this: LOST FORMAT is the idea that stuck. It’s the project we knew would have the greatest impact on the world. Once we started working on it, we couldn’t stop.

We've been so blessed to have the support of our friends, people who have taken precious time out of their busy schedule to pitch in with their feedback and their talents. We couldn't do it without them, and we want to continue that cycle of good will in everything we do.

Friendship is what makes the world go round. It sounds cheesy, but it's true. That's why we want to expand our circle of friendship to include you. We're dead serious. The more people who can give to the homeless, and maybe even join our board game nights, the better.

It’s as simple as that. Our personal values of community and connection are what drive us. We want everyone, from our customers to our homeless neighbors, to feel like they’re leaving a positive mark on the world.
